Millennium And Beyond...

There will be a 75 day interval between the Second Coming of Christ and the Millennium. Each half of the tribulation is 1,260 days each. As you will see below, the 1,290 is an extra 30 days then the 1,335 is another 45 days equaling a total of 75 days.

Dan. 12:11-12 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.”

Dan 12:11 talks about the Temple sacrifices and the “abomination of desolation” so it’s safe to say that the first 30 days would relate to the Temple. This time would be used to cleanse the Temple from the pollution of the Antichrist entering in.

Dan 12:12 we read that we reach the point of 1,335 days. This would indicate an additional 45 days beyond the 30 in the previous verse. The angel said that the people who make it through that time would be “blessed”, a personal blessing.

This person is qualified to enter the 1,000 year Messianic Kingdom.

Matt 25:34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.”

75 day interval for the time of preparation of the millennial kingdom.

Who will populate the Millennium? Very few!!! Why? Check this out:
1. Possibly ½ a billion Christians or more will be raptured before the Tribulation, including children under the age of accountability.
2. After the rapture, over half of the world’s population will be killed during the seal and trumpet judgment (Rev. 6:8: 9:18), which will that place during the first half of the seven-year tribulation.
3. Many more will be killed during the other plagues or judgments, millions of martyred by the Antichrist for refusing to worship him or take the mark of the Beast.
4. The Gentiles who are cast into everlasting punishment (Matt. 25:46) for refusing to receive Christ during the Tribulation.

Only God know who will be left, but I would guess, not many.

Jesus told us who will enter in (Matt. 24:13) the person who endures until the end shall be “saved” which means to be delivered.

Judgment of the Nations

Matt 25:31-46 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

3 different groups will be at the Judgment of the Nations.
1. Unsaved followers of Antichrist are called “goats” (Matt. 25:32-33)
2. Believers who survive are called “sheep” (Matt. 25:32-33)
3. Lastly, are the “brethren” (v.40) whom the sheep befriend. Only Jews and Gentiles who are believed in Christ will enter the Millennium. Ez. 37:11, 15-28 predicts the reuniting of Israel and Judah into one nation during the Millennium.

What happens during the Millennium?
Zech. 14:9 the Lord will be the only “One”!

Other Old Testament Millennial passages: Ps. 2:6-9; Is. 2:2-4; 11:6-9; 65:18-23; Jer. 31:12-14, 31-37; Ez. 34:25-29; 37:1-6, 40-48; Dan. 2:35; 7:13-14; Joel 2:21-27; Amos 9:13-14; Micah 4:1-7; and Zeph. 3:9-20.

New Testament Millennial passages: Matt. 5:1-20; 19:27-30; 26:27-29; Mark 14:25; Luke 22:18; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; and Rev. 20.

The Major Features include:

1. Satan bound during the Millennium period
2. Final restoration of Israel
Regeneration (Jer. 31:31-34)
Re-gathering (Duet. 30:1-10; Is. 11:11-12:6; Matt. 24:31)
Possession of the land (Ez. 20:42-44; 36:28-38)
3. Re-establishment of the Davidic Throne (2 Sam. 7:11-16; 1 Chron. 17:10-14; Jer. 33:17-26)
4. Reign of Jesus Christ (Is. 2:3-4; 11:2-5)
5. Loosen and final rebellion of Satan at the end of the Millennium (Rev. 20:7-10)
6. Great White Throne Judgment and the second resurrection or judgment of the unbelieving dead (Rev. 20:11-15)

Other Things to notice:
1. The Adamic curse will be rolled back, except for death, people will live for 1,000 years.
2. Time of tremendous environmental transformation. (Is. 35:1-2) the desert will blossom and re-produce. Abundant rainfall in deserts, plenty of food for animals. (Is. 30:23-24: 35:7) Predatory instincts of animals will cease. No difference between tame and wild animals. All creatures will live in harmony. (Is. 11:6-7)
3. Physical conditions of people will change for the better. Live longer, no physical infirmities or bad health will be eradicated (Is. 29:18; 33:24) No sickness or deformity, increased life span, people will enjoy prosperity. (Jer. 31:12-14)
4. Spiritual Life daily will be personal and physical presence with Jesus Christ will happen unlike ever before. (Is. 11:9) says that the earth will have full knowledge of the Lord. Worship of Christ will be global and unimpeded. It will be an era of the greatest spiritual awareness, sensitivity, and activity for both Christians and the nation of Israel.

Rev. 20:7-10 “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

Satan will be loosed for a short time (about a couple of months). This will bring the people born during the Millennium to make a decision to follow Christ or Satan just like everyone else in history.

The Great White Throne Judgment

Rev. 20:11-15 “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”

This is the second death. Everyone who died physically and did not accept Christ’s free gift of salvation will die a second time which will be a spiritual death. This will be the final judgment of all time. (Acts 17:31, John 5:22)

No one will be able to hide; the dead bodies and souls of everyone who has died and is held in Hades will be united (like the rapture) and be cast alive in the Lake of Fire forever.

Most people don’t realize that unbelievers today are already spiritually dead even while they are alive. (Eph. 2:1) Unbelievers go to torment (Luke 16:18-31)

The Bible doesn’t say anything about God comparing “Good deeds” out weighing “bad deeds”

Titus 3:5 “he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,”

It comes down to whether we accept or reject what Jesus has already done.

Two Books Opened

Rev. 20:12 “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”

God owns a complete set of books that record every persons deeds waiting to be recalled on judgment day. This book is called, “The Book of Man’s Works or Life”.

The second book is the “Lamb’s Book of Life” mentioned eight different times, Ps. 69:28 calls it the book of the living, Rev. 13:8 calls it the “Lamb’s Book of Life”

Ex. 32:33 God told Moses that anyone who sins will be “blotted” out of His book.

Rev. 3:5 Jesus promises not to “erase” that person who has trusted Him from the Book of Life.
Eternity

Rev. 21-22 this will be incredible

The Earth: there are 3 described destruction's of the earth:
1. By Flood (Gen 6-8)
2. By Fire (2 Peter 3:4-14; Is. 65:17-20)
3. By Rebuilding (Rev. 21:1)

New Heaven and Earth
God will clean up the atmospheric heaven, earth, and the galaxies because the evil ones have polluted everything. (2 Cor. 12:2; Rev. 4-5)

Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

God will remake the heavens and earth:
1. No more seas (2/3 cover the earth right now)
2. God dwells among people (Rev. 21:3)
3. New Jerusalem is on earth not in heaven
4. No more tears (Rev. 21:4)
5. Everything will be made new (Rev. 21:5)

The New Jerusalem

Revelation 21:9-27 “One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia]in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using. 18The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.
22I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.”

1. Made from the most beautiful materials on earth
2. Walk on what we precious the most now
3. No more Temple, Jesus will be the Temple (Rev. 21:22)

BoldHow much Jesus loves you? He gives an invitation at the end of the Book of Revelation as a final plea to you…

Rev. 22:16-21 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
17The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.

As a reminder, Jesus opens with an invitation before He show us what is about to happen…

Rev. 3:20-22
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 21To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

It is now your choice! What will you choose? He is waiting for your answer:
